Privacy Policy

Nembly Studio ("Nembly Studio," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Glow Counter application ("App"), available on iPhone and Apple Watch, handles information.

1. Our core commitment: we collect no data

Glow Counter does not collect, store, transmit, share, or sell any personal data. The App has no user accounts, no registration, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking of any kind. Everything you do in the App stays on your device.

2. Information handled by the App

Counter and app data

All counter values, settings, appearance preferences, and purchased theme data are stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's standard on-device storage. This data is never transmitted to Nembly Studio or any third party. We cannot access it in any form. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed from your devices.

Apple Watch

When Glow Counter runs on Apple Watch, it communicates with the iPhone companion app using Apple's standard WatchConnectivity framework, solely to sync your counter data and purchased content between your devices. This communication is local and device-to-device only — no data is sent to any external server.

Purchase information

Purchases (including the one-time unlock and any appearance packs) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Nembly Studio never receives your payment card details, billing address, or any personally identifying payment information. Apple may share with us a limited, anonymised signal confirming whether a valid purchase exists for your Apple ID, solely so the App can unlock the content you have paid for. This signal contains no personally identifying information.

Crash and performance data

Apple's operating system may collect anonymised, aggregated crash reports through Apple's standard developer tools. This data is provided to us in aggregate form only and cannot identify you personally. You can opt out in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

3. No third-party SDKs

Glow Counter contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no social login integrations, and no tracking libraries of any kind. No data is shared with any third party other than Apple as described in section 2 above.

4. No data sales

Nembly Studio does not and will never sell personal data. Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to sell.

5. Children's privacy

Glow Counter is not directed at children under 13. Since the App collects no personal data from any user, the same privacy protections apply regardless of age.

6. Data retention

All App data is retained locally on your devices for as long as the App is installed. Nembly Studio retains no user data on its own servers because no user data is ever transmitted to us.

7. Your rights (GDPR and Norwegian law)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or Norway, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Norwegian Personal Data Act (personopplysningsloven). Because Nembly Studio collects no personal data, these rights are not practically applicable. You may still contact us with any questions at the address below. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in Norway, this is Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).

8. Apple's privacy practices

As the App is distributed through the App Store, Apple's own privacy practices also apply to the App Store experience, device data, and payment processing. Apple's Privacy Policy is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the App's data practices change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
