Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026Brainfolio ("the app", "we", "us") is a brain-training and IQ-style puzzle app made by Nembly Studio. This policy explains exactly what the app uses and what happens to your information.
In short: Brainfolio has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. We do not collect any personal data. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to anyone else by the app. Your progress and settings are stored only on your device. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple.
1. Who is responsible
Nembly Studio is the developer of Brainfolio. Because the app does not send your data to us, we do not hold personal data about you. You can contact us at nemblystudio@outlook.com with any question about this policy.
2. What the app stores on your device
The following is created and kept in the app's private storage on your device, and nowhere else:
- Your answers to puzzles, your skill ratings and tiers, and your history
- Your level-path progress and Foresight progress (levels completed, fewest moves, stars)
- Your daily-challenge records and your streak
- Your test results and saved unfinished tests
- Your Brain Trick scores and how many free plays you have used
- Your settings: language, daily goal, reminder time, sound and haptics, and whether you have seen the intro and tour
- A record that the one free streak restore has been used, and any streak restore you have bought but not yet used
None of this leaves your device through the app. It is not linked to your name, your Apple ID or any identifier, because the app does not have any of those.
3. What the app uses on your device

The app does not use: your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar, health data, Bluetooth, advertising identifier, or any tracking. It makes no network connections of its own.
4. Purchases
Brainfolio Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (Monthly or Weekly), and a streak restore is a one-time purchase. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details, your Apple ID, your name or your email address. The app only asks Apple's StoreKit, on your device, whether you have an active subscription or a streak restore. Apple's own privacy policy covers that processing.
5. Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to answer you, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. We do not add you to any list.
6. Backups
Your device may include the app's data in its normal backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup). That is controlled by Apple and by your device settings, not by us.
7. Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your device until you remove it. You can delete it at any time:
- Settings → Reset progress in the app erases your progress, ratings, streak and test history. A few small markers (such as that the free streak restore has been used) are kept so the free allowance cannot be reset by wiping.
- Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
Because there are no accounts and no servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
8. Children
Brainfolio is suitable for all ages and does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases can be controlled with Apple's Screen Time, Ask to Buy and Family Sharing settings.
9. Your rights
Under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have rights to access, correct, delete or export personal data held about you. We do not hold personal data about you, so there is nothing to provide, correct or delete. The data on your device is under your control (see section 7). If you are in the EU/EEA you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
Your data is protected by the security of your device (passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS's app sandbox). Since the app sends nothing out, there is no data in transit for us to protect.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. If a change ever involves collecting data, we will say so clearly in the app before it happens.
